Festication, Kaskade's Sun SoaKed, and deadmau5's We Are Friends festivals are teaming up to create a new all-inclusive vacation destination festival - Sun SoaKed & Friend5!
Join us in Cancun, Mexico, on December 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2022, for a weekend of all-inclusive food, drinks, and unforgettable sets on the beautiful beaches of Cancun at the 4-diamond Paradisus Resort. Packages bought previously for either event will still be honored. No further action is required.
This unforgettable three-day destination experience will feature multiple performances by Kaskade and deadmau5, as well as a main stage right on the beach, and a specially curated lineup of highly sought-after artists!
Hours
Official Festival check-in is 3:00 PM Friday, December 16th, 2022. Official Festival check-out is 12:00 PM Monday, December 19th, 2022.
Music will run from mid-day Friday through the early morning of Monday.
Extended nights will be available through Sun SoaKed & Friend5 at a discounted rate. Guests may extend their trip by up to 3 nights before and 3 nights after the festival. Purchase options to be made available soon.
Extended nights are highly recommended, as they grant access to a number of perks including:
- Faster check-In and shorter lines.
- A full night sleep before music begins Friday.
- An extra day of all inclusive food, drink and resort experience.
- First dibs on restaurant and spa reservations.

Packages
Packages are available at our partner hotel: Paradisus. Paradisus is located in the heart of the Hotel Zone in Cancun, Mexico.
Paradisus is a world-renowned resort and will be sure to exceed expectations!
Excursions
Off-site excursions and on-site resort activities will be offered to all patrons and including catamaran expeditions, scuba diving, rappelling, and many other activities.

Transfers & Room Requests
Room locations are picked when you arrive at check-in. We advise you to arrive together with other groups you wish to room beside.
Please note that while we will do everything possible to accommodate your room location request, we cannot guarantee that all accommodations will be possible.

COVID 19 Policy & Guidelines
The health and safety of attendees is our top priority.
As a result of rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the global pandemic, we will be updating you on our health and safety procedures closer to the event.
Rest assured, the event will comply with all applicable COVID-19 regulations.
Guidelines
Make the most of our time at the event with a quick peek at the general festival guidelines. Become familiar with what you can and cannot bring along, ensure you have the proper identification, and prepare accordingly.
Ages
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 is open to fans who are ages 18 and above. Attendees will be required to show a valid passport or government-issued ID.
Airport Pickup
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 will be providing free shuttle service to and from the Airport! Shuttles will run periodically starting Tuesday, December 13th, and continuing through Wednesday, December 21st.
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 is located 15 minutes from the Cancun Airport.
Stages
The Sun SoaKed & Friend5 Main Stage is located directly on the beach!
Late-night shows will be held in the atrium inside Paradisus.
The pool stage will be located at the Paradisus.

Additional Nights
Many event attendees will choose to extend their vacation.
Arrive a day early to settle in, get familiar with the property, and prepare for the party. Stay a day late to relax, recover, and revisit your favorite moments from the Festival.
Extended nights are highly recommended, as they grant access to a number of perks including:
- Faster check-In and shorter lines.
- A full night sleep before music begins Friday.
- An extra day of all inclusive food, drink and resort experience.
- First dibs on restaurant and spa reservations.
Extended nights that are not booked through the festival cannot be linked to other reservations, and guests will need to check out & check back in on the official festival start date if extended nights are booked elsewhere.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
All sales for Sun SoaKed & Friend5 are final.
In the unlikely event that Sun SoaKed & Friend5 is canceled, purchasers will be issued a full refund within 7 days.
In the unlikely event that Sun SoaKed & Friend5 is rescheduled, purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates. If you are unable to attend in the new timeframe, you will be issued a refund for your ticket.
Attending the Event
You may only attend the event if you purchase a hotel package.
Waitlist
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 will sell out. However, there will always be some unexpected occurrences that will open space back up.

Gifting Packages
You may purchase packages for another individual just be sure to list the correct names on the purchased package and that the individual is at least 18 years of age.
Other Guests
Only Sun SoaKed & Friend5 attendees will be allowed on the property at the Paradisus and festival site.

Food & Drink
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 is an all-inclusive event. All food & drink is unlimited and free at Paradisus.
Paradisus offers 10 restaurants and 7 bars on site.
Restaurant Reservations
Reservations will be necessary for all specialty restaurants in advance to guarantee availability and your preferred seating times. There are both reservation-only restaurants, and walk-in buffets.
Reservations can only be made in person, onsite at Paradisus.
If you are arriving early at the festival, you can make your reservations for your whole stay when you arrive. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sun SoaKed & Friend5 guests who extend their stay to arrive early have the first chance at restaurant reservations.

Item Policy
Few things are necessary to enjoy the show, but there are a couple of items that you shouldn't leave home without. When in doubt, please take a moment to reference our guide covering everything you can and cannot bring past the front gates.
If at any time an acceptable item is deemed harmful to other patrons, it may be confiscated and retrieved after the event.

Totem Guidelines: Maximum height 10 feet, made from a lightweight material (foam, PVC, etc.). Poles must be no thicker than one inch in diameter and cannot contain solid metal pieces. Decorated pool noodles recommended. Any item deemed dangerous, promoting illegal activity, or hate speech will not be permitted. Totems are subject to inspection.

Illegal substances are prohibited and strongly discouraged at Sun SoaKed & Friend5.

- NO Open Fires or Grills.
- NO Items deemed as posing a threat to the safe enjoyment of the concert by management.

Is airfare included in package pricing?
Airfare is not included in the price of your package.
How do I add or change guest names for our room?
Lead bookers can add names to their reservation via the Sun SoaKed & Friend5 rooming form attached in your See Tickets confirmation email. Guest names can be added to your reservation by the lead booker only. For changes after filling out your rooming form, please submit your inquiry via the contact form below.
Can I purchase a Sun SoaKed & Friend5 ticket and stay at another hotel? Will day passes be offered?
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 festival passes are available only to patrons of the Paradisus. Day passes will not be available for the festival.
Can we purchase more than one room on a card? Can we use multiple cards for one room?
A maximum of two rooms per credit card can be purchased. At checkout, the purchaser can opt to have links sent to the other members of their party, who then pay their portion of the cost. Note: Payment plans are not available for the Pay With Friends option.
Can I attend the event without a hotel package?
Sorry, but you may only attend the event if you purchase a hotel package.
What is the maximum number of packages I can buy?
Each individual may purchase a maximum of two packages.
When is check-in and check-out?
Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check out time is 12:00 PM. Early arrivals will be accommodated based on availability. If you arrive early, the resort can hold onto your luggage, and you can enjoy the pool and all of the other great amenities.
Can we change or transfer names on the room?
Name changes and package transfers are possible on packages and we are ready to assist you. Please submit your inquiry via the contact form below.
What if a group member is unable to attend the event?
All Sun SoaKed & Friend5 sales are final. However, packages and wristbands can be transferred on fully paid packages. For additional questions, please reach out via via the contact form below.
Travel Basics
Documentation (Passports / I.D.'s)
If you are not a Mexico resident, a valid passport will be required to enter the country. You will also need a valid I.D. to check-in to the hotel and obtain your credentials.
Wifi
Wifi is free and provided by the resorts.
Outlet Converters
The resorts use U.S. outlet format, no converters necessary.
Laundry
Laundry is available for a small fee, and is provided by the resorts.
U.S. Currency
The resorts accept U.S. currency.
Phone Plans
It is recommended to contact your phone provider before traveling to get a temporary international plan. This will avoid the risk of long-distance fees.
ADA Accessibility
We are dedicated to providing an accessible festival experience to all fans. Sun SoaKed & Friend5 will feature an array of accessible features, including ADA-accessible rooms, ADA viewing areas, and shuttles between resorts. Some or all ADA accommodations will be provided based on need and availability.
